Research
The objective of the project is to develop segmentation techniques to estimate organ volumes that are of interest in both diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and to compare various techniques used in different hospitals to estimate thyroid volume. This parameter is of special interest in dosimetry calculations for patient-specific dose planning.
