Pediatric orthopedics is the field that covers the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders (arms, legs and spine) in children and adolescents. It is for children with congenital malformations, and also bone, joint and muscle disorders.

Pediatric trauma care treats fractures and sprains.

These disciplines include diagnostic investigations, surgery, and peri and post-operative care from birth until growth stops. They also provide for medical monitoring of disorders not requiring surgery.
