Trois-Chêne SMI-R is actively involved in medical student education (Introduction to Clinical Procedures unit, clinical skills program, learning in a clinical environment and participation in a number of committees), and in organizing on-site postgraduate training at Trois-Chêne.

The Dermatology Division accepts 1 doctor each year for postgraduate training.

The division is a Category A institution according to the FMH, which means that full training can take place in this division.


The Oncology Division is involved in the training of future doctors, specialists in oncology and provides continuing education for general practitioners.

Pre-Graduate Training

Pre-Graduate training provided by senior physicians in the Oncology Division is primarily intended for students in human medicine but also other health-related professions.

Postgraduate Training


Basic training

The eHealth and Telemedicine Division takes part in the introductory course in medical IT and in critical research in medical information for medical students at bachelor's and master's level . Some of these courses are also given on eLearning platforms, using models developed in the Computer-for-Health project of the Virtuel Suisse [Swiss Virtual] Campus

Postgraduate Training

The Pediatric Surgery Division is involved in undergraduate teaching (students in the Faculty of Medicine at Geneva) and postgraduate teaching: continuing education of generalists, pediatricians, general surgeons and pediatric surgeons.

The Pediatric Surgery Division is recognized by the FMH as a level A learning center (Study Concept (FR))
