In 2017, HUG, which already had a structure dedicated to simulation focused on acute care, has become a partner in the Interprofessional Simulation Centre (CiS). Unique in Switzerland, the CiS was created in 2013 by the Faculty of Medicine and the School of Health Sciences Geneva, to train healthcare professionals and students in technical methods and interprofessional approaches. On its brand new premises, located at the heart of Geneva’s University Medical Centre, the CiS combines cutting-edge technology, thanks to advanced simulation mannequins, and a human approach with the participation of actors in the role of simulated patients.
