To ensure the maintenance of the Punt Dal Gall dam in Grisons, the workers were operating at a depth of 120 metres underwater.
Due to the exceptionally challenging nature of the task, the project’s managers called on the services of HUG’s hyperbaric medicine department to provide medical coverage. A unit coordinated with Rega Swiss air rescue was organized in order to react as quickly as possible in the event of an emergency.
