The Executive Board (EB) handles current affairs and prepares Board meetings.
By delegation, it has certain specific powers, particularly in the field of personnel management. It also adopts collaboration agreements and issues notice of changes to organisational structure and regulations, for submission to the Board.
In 2015, the EB met 23 times and examined 198 cases. It approved 18 cooperation agreements between the HUG and various external public and private structures, as well as taking note of institutional indicators and financial statements at regular intervals.
The managing director, Bertrand Levrat, attends the meetings of the executive board and the board of directors. Depending on the cases submitted to this body, the participation of a member of the Executive Committee may be required.
