Undergraduate teaching

The Pediatric Orthopaedic and Traumatology Unit contributes to undergraduate teaching for students at the Faculty of Medicine of Geneva: bedside seminars, case illustrations in pediatric orthopedics, e-learning, Masters.

Postgraduate training

The Pediatric Orthopaedic and Traumatology Unit contributes to postgraduate teaching.

Weekly schedule of division teaching courses:

  • Monday 8:15 am - 9 am: Structured case
  • Monday 9 am - 9:30 am: SAUP symposium, pediatric surgery and orthopedics
  • Tuesday 7 am - 7:45 am: Intern training orthopedics course
  • Tuesday 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm T̈umor Board
  • Wednesday 8 am - 10 am: Pediatric radio-orthopedics symposium
  • Thursday 7 am - 8 am: Journal Club
  • Thursday 9 am - 11 am: Kinesiology Laboratory - Pediatric Orthopedics symposium

Postgraduate training also includes:

  • Training for interns in pediatric orthopedics and trauma care (FMH training concept (FR))
  • Continuing education for pediatricians
  • National and international training: courses and conferences
