The Clinique de Joli-Mont welcomes patients for medical and surgical rehabilitation care in order to recover autonomy before returning home. It also welcomes people receiving palliative care or who are waiting for a new place to live.

Parking

Parking meters and parking stickers are available to visitors at Reception.

Patients are not permitted to park their vehicles during their hospitalization period

Access

Transport by bus HUG Geneva – Joli-Mont Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/ Friday (on request). The meeting point is 8.30 in the intersite waiting room located by Reception of the Gustave Julliard building, rue Alcide-Jentzer 17, 1205 Genève

  • Bus No. 3, alight at «Colladon»
  • Bus No. 10, alight at «Balexert-Pailly»
  • Bus No. 51 and 53, alight at «Joli-Mont»

Reception

  • Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 8 pm
  • Weekends and public holidays from 10 am to 8 pm

Visits

Monday to Sunday, 8 am to 8 pm (with the exception of palliative care where visits can be at any time)

Restaurant

Restaurant Cèdre Gourmand, Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. All meals or beverages consumed in the restaurant are at your expense.

If you do not live in the Canton of Geneva or if you are the beneficiary of supplementary insurance, international or foreign insurance, please contact the telephone number +41 22 717 03 11 to check that your hospital stay will be fully covered.

CHECK-LIST

To register you must submit :

  • the notification sheet
  • insurance card or cover guarantee from your health insurance fund or insurance company
  • an identity document (passport, identity card, family record book or residence permit for foreigners living in Switzerland)
  • if admitted following an accident: the health insurer’s decision, quoting the claim number
  • the decision of the statutory Invalidity Insurance, if this is the reason for your admission to hospital
  • a financial deposit or proof of such a deposit if you do not have a full guarantee from a recognized insurance company or if the treatment is not covered by basic health insurance benefits (LAMal)
  • if your hospital stay is taking place in a private or semi-private room, the administrative consent document for the treatment, transmitted with your notification, duly signed (otherwise hospital admission is not possible).

Hospital patients and their close friends and relatives can take a walk or rest in a magnificent verdant park.

Telephone

Contenu

If you would like to use a telephone, please contact a nurse so that one can be provided to you. A telephone bill will be sent to you. If you wish, you can also make a prepayment before activating your line. In this case, if the credit balance used is less than the advance payment, the difference will not be refunded to you. If you overrun your prepayment, you will be invoiced at your home address.

CHECK-LIST

Before you leave hospital, please make sure you have received the following :

  • a notification of discharge
  • a doctor’s sick-leave certificate (if necessary)
  • a card indicating your treatment
  • a prescription (if necessary)
  • a physiotherapy or domiciliary care prescription (if necessary)
  • a follow-up appointment with your general practitioner or at the hospital.

Entertainment

The entertainment service offers activities such as concerts inside the building and in the park. Your family and close friends and relatives can share these moments where you can maintain your quality of life during your hospitalization.

Animals

Animals on a lead are only admitted in the park and in the restaurant (only on the terrace).

Wardrobes

Contenu

The bedrooms have wardrobes. The cash office will give you the key against a deposit of CHF 15. This is returned to you on your departure date against return of the key.

Cash office

Please submit your valuables to the cash office on your admission. It is open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12 pm and from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Do not forget to return the key to your wardrobe and remove your items before your departure.

Religious celebrations

Contenu

Protestant, catholic and ecumenical services are celebrated at the clinic. For venues and timings please consult the notice boards located by the dining room and at Reception. Chaplains can offer you religious or spiritual support and will be happy to visit you on request. Ask at Reception or the nurses office.

Hairdressing and pedicure

Contenu

A hair salon is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. A pedicure and podiatry service is open on Thursdays from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. Please make an appointment through the care team. These services are at your expense.

Laundry

Contenu

The hospital will provide you with a gown intended for your care. Please remember to bring your own toilet bag, pyjamas or nightdress, dressing gown, slippers, which should preferably have backs - and any other items you may need.

Your personal clothes may be maintained by the hospital at a daily rate of CHF 6.50.

Lounge

Contenu

A lounge is open to patients and visitors on the upper ground floor. Free internet access, books, a piano, chess and board games are available for your use.

Television

All bedrooms have a television.

Stamps and mail boxes

Contenu

Stamps are on sale at Reception. You can place your franked mail at this location or in the brown mail box located at the main entrance to the clinic.

Visiting hours

Contenu

Your close friends and relatives can visit you every day from 8 am to 8 pm. Depending on your state of health, visits are authorized without any time restrictions.
