New psychiatric care
Made up of a psychiatrist, nurses, social educators and a psychologist, a multidisciplinary mobile team has been created within the psychiatric unit of mental development (UPDM) in collaboration with institutions for integration (EPI). It is designed for adults with intellectual disabilities or autism-type disorders, who present psychological or behavioral difficulties.
This multidisciplinary team works to help maintain treatment in a caring environment - whether individual, family or institutional - when a disabled person has an episode of decompensation. They work in partnership with family and friends, as well as professional institutions for people with disabilities.
