Mission of the Neuro-Rehabilitation Division
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation services as a priority, and outpatient services for adolescents and adults with a nervous system disorder.
- Help the patient achieve independence and maximum social integration.
- Offer outpatient consultations in neuro-rehabilitation, paraplegiology, neuro-urology (including urodynamic testing) and neuropsychology after hospital care or at the request of other physicians at the HUG or non-hospital based physicians.
- Assess the occupational abilities of patients, in a workshop preparing patients for the workplace. These requests may come from HUG, attending physicians or insurance companies
