The Maternity hospital extension has been completed

The full opening of the new Maternity hospital is scheduled for September 2017.

After the completion of the structural work in 2015, 2016 was devoted to the interior fittings and delivery of the first equipment. The installation remains to be finalised and tests must be performed before it is put into operation.

Gardens tailored to every age

A new play and leisure area was opened at the Children’s hospital in June 2016.

Open to all children and teenagers, whatever their age or disability, the aim of this Garden is to promote health and physical exercise among young patients, while maintaining the link between siblings.

Fitting out the Julliard Building

HUG received the keys to the new Gustave Julliard hospital building in late 2016.

Tests had been carried out since June in a pilot unit with a view to checking the equipment with the healthcare practitioners and making the final equipment choices.
