Mission of the Neurology Division

Provide diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with a neurological condition, often in collaboration with other divisions, such as Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery, Neuro-Rehabilitation and the Specialist Internal Medicine Divisions. Act based on current advances in medical knowledge while respecting the wishes of the patient.

Patients can be admitted or treated as outpatients. In the latter case, they are given a referral consultation (to a specialist unit) by their regular physician or are referred to outpatient hospitalization with prior scheduling of treatment.
